Professor Services has had its own web site for almost a year now. Prior to that, job search support services like professional mentoring for new PhDs, CV and cover letter writing, and statements of teaching philosophy editing were offered alongside The Babb Group’s instructional design and curriculum development.
It’s true that highly-intelligent, extremely well-educated people have many transferable skills and have a lot to offer in the education industry and other knowledge-based industries. That’s why The Babb Group and Professor Services exist. The vast array of services though, needed two different business models and different experts to ensure excellent work is delivered to individuals, to colleges, to universities and to corporate L&D departments.
While the two brands shared social media channels through the transition period, the time has come for Professor Services at The Babb Group to venture into its own social media presence.
